When I hugged him at MSP he whispered: I missed you so, so much. And then he gave me his cookie... I (age 3.75):
I: I am not your Teddy bear.
Me: please be my Teddy bear.
I: no, you need to find a dead one.
I: "aaaaaaw shucks!"
and then: "aw,man, shucks!!!!"

he must really like you to give you his cookie. i've known you for ages, but you would have to pry that cookie out of my cold, dead hands.
Is it just killing you to be living so far away from them?
